SchlubbyTees.com was founded by a couple of old friends who met in a Turkish prison sometime during the Nixon administration.

 

You see, there was a guy they shared a cell with. He was a schlub, and they called him Schlubby.

 

Before Schlubby was sent off to the gallows, he made them promise that whatever they do, whatever the world throws at them, that they would start a business and create the best meme-worthy content for people to proudly display across their chests.

So they did. And in honor of Schlubby, they named the business after him.
